self-pity....that's when you feel sorry for yourself. this guy lives with his brother name insecurity and their sister name fear...terrible threesome, will paralyze you, some for life. We have a helper and a comforter, His name is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said He will help, comfort,lead and give us strength to move on from whatever is trying to make us stumble.
gloating....do not brag about yourself or anything that is of yours, let somebody else do it for you. That's what the Bible said, And, even if no one does it for you, that's okay....God is very proud of you because you are HIS. gloat's sister is pride and their brother is haughtiness...
