sugary tongues

did you know that there are those who have sugary tongues? they can sweet talk someone and when they ask questions if you are not careful they will turn what you said around and make it sound different then what you meant to say? God help us all for the ones with sugar on their tongues are in churches, schools and in our homes. Now, this is an exercise everyone of us must try, listen when these sugary tongues start moving...a. they will start off by asking an innocent question about something they already know but just want to know what you say about it. (b.) they will drill you and just push you to the wall where you will almost not be able to get out of the conversation (c.) if you are not wise, what happens is they might have been the ones who started the conversation and say the comments but in the end they will point their finger at you as the instigator. These are the ones the Word of God warns us about. The one you think is a best friend could be the very person you need to avoid. Believe me, an enemy sticks closer than a friend sometimes, be prayerful, be discerning and be bold to stop a conversation when you realize that it is going the wrong way....you won't be hurting them, you will be helping them.
