I know many who read this are probably going to say, all of us are equal and God loves us all...I'm not going to argue with that but, take a good long look into the scriptures and do the research, God loved all His prophets but there was only Elijah, who called down fire from heaven and went to heaven in a chariot of fire. There were many strong men in Israel but their hearts melted each time Goliath comes out yelling until this one shepherd boy named David cameand brought God's glory back to Israel with a sling and 5 small smooth stones. There were many beautiful women in Bethlehem but,Boaz noticed Ruth a foreign woman,who did not plan on giving birth to kings and most of all the King of kings. There were many many calling out to God on the battlefield with the Amalekites but, the Bible said God heard one Joshua who told the sun not to set and the moon to stay at where it was at. There were 120 who were baptized with the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost but when they were accused for being drunk there was Peter who preached and 3000 repented and got baptized. There were many apostles who loved Jesus and gave their lives for the Cause but there was one Paul who wrote nearly half of the books of the New Testament. So, now I ask you, what is it that makes you distinctive from the others? Here's my answer for myself. "Jesus said, But I will send you the Comforter-the Holy Spirit, the source of all truth. He will come to you from the Father and will tell you all about me." That's the deal, we can only do all things with Christ who strengthens us when we have the Helper who Christ himself recommended to us. What makes us Christians distinctive is the power of the Holy Spirit! not programs, not good sermons, not nice songs, not anything else but,the Holy Spirit!
