O my soul, march on in strength!
Very important to do that to yourself, especially when all you hear is good but discouraging advise from well-meaning people. That's part of the song the prophet Deborah sang with Israel's general Barak when a woman name Jael took out Sisera the enemy general. Jael a woman living in the desert managed to get the enemy of Israel into her tent, she gave him a cup of milk then when the enemy was resting, Jael took the tent peg and with one pound of the hammer drove it through Sisera's temple, the side of his head. A fragile woman took care of the enemy that has been harrassing Israel for sometime. So, the prophetess Deborah and Barak sang a song now that Jael has destroyed the enemy to the people of God, they can each say to themselves, rise up and move on with all the might God has given you.

Hold On to Jesus!
the better things seem to get, the more the battle. how you been feeling lately? me, I been feeling weird, it's as if as God is moving, there seems to be a spirit that is not of God that is subtly trying to poke a hole in the atmosphere around us. Paul said we are not battling against humans. We are in a spiritual battle, it is won when we go down on our knees and acknowledge our Commander in Chief, acknowledge his ability and strength to defeat the enemy for us. Acknowledge his power that even just the mention of his name drives out demons. At the mention of Jesus' name, the devil will flee. YES! Hold On! soul of mine, Hold On! Sister and Brother, JESUS' got your number. Glory!

when too many doors open at once...
it can mean many things, but the best meaning of it is be sure we take a good assessment of all these doors and what's behind them. When God opens doors the devil will try and confuse us with his own doors...and this is where our discernment should come into play. The temptations that Jesus went through were (1) lust of the flesh, (2) lust of the eyes and (3) is the pride of life. He overcame each one of them for us...and because Jesus is within us, we can overcome them too. So, when God opens doors there will be peace in our hearts and minds, and He usually opens a door that we know there was no way anyone could have done it, except God! But, beware oh hearts of ours, observe the doors that has opened, pray and study it well and ask ourselves why did God do this? what does He want us to do when He opens it? Every door presents an opportunity...question is, which door will we open? I know one who can help you choose right. Read John 14 & 15....you will find out who that person is. Even if a thousand doors open before you, He will know which one is the right and best one for you to open. Thank you Holy Spirit.
God bless.
God bless.

I don't know, don't ask me, I don't know..
you know this getting to be a favorite line with christians today. Oh, I don't know, don't ask me, I don't know...this morning I read from 1Sam.10:6,7...Samuel told Saul and I quote, when the Spirit of the Lord comes upon him, Saul's decisions should be precise and good under any circumstances they should be confident. I started thinking if I am truly a christian and I profess that I am so, then I should not be so wishy-washy. The Holy Spirit of the Almighty God is in me, my body is his dwelling place, and this is not just any spirit it's the Spirit of GOD! So, no matter what situation I am in, my decisions should be done in faith, with confidence in the leading of the Holy Spirit, be done precisely according to the wisdom He gave me. That is an awesome thing to know, that I am not a indecisive person, but a person who can make wise decisions because of who is inside of me. Praise God!

moving on, moving on
I'm trying to remember this oldie but goodie that Stevie Wonder sang...it goes something..like the.....I keep reaching for the sun, moving on, moving on...that's what it comes down to for me as a christian, it would be such a nice ride and I get so comfortable in the seat then all of a sudden, inside of me I hear the sounds of a far away place, inside of my mind I see images of that place, my gut says get yourself reaadddy, of course I will think of all the places I have been longing to go to, but then I catch myself after a minute of wild planning and think, is this the Lord or me? I take an assessment of all the things happening around me and then say to myself there is something very familiar about what's happening to me right now. It seems like I traveled this path before, I remember when God came many years before and snatched me away from a very comfortable but dangerous place I was in. There were no ifs or buts, it was packed my bags, got on the plane and with tears flowing down my face I said aloha, to that big beautiful city by the bay. I did not know what I was going to do when I get to wherever I was going till about some years later. God showed up again and shifted the grounds underneath me and put me in the places he wanted me in. You know something? I'm at that stage again, and you know something? I love it! Because when God interferes, you are in for a wild, exciting and adventurous time! Years before there was a saint of the Lord, her name was Corrie Ten Boom, I loved hearing about her adventures with the Lord. She called herself a tramp for the Lord..oh, how God used that woman for his glory before he took her home. She was a preacher on airplanes, trains, streets, wherever she went, her mouth was always talking Jesus..she never stayed in one place, when the nazis took her home during world war 1, she considered the entire earth her home and she tramped all over it for JESUS! GLORY! Oh God! give me a heart like that..always moving forward for you, never staying put in one place or getting too lazy and comfortable to say yes to you. Come Lord Jesus, all my bags are packed I am ready to go. I want to tramp all over this earth with you my Master!

Easter is about this:
"He (Jesus) died for our sins and rose again to make us right with God, filling us with God's goodness." Romans 5:25.
This is what Easter means to me, on Friday, Jesus was crucified and died on the cross for every sin I have committed, big ones and small ones, hidden ones and known ones, whatever it was, the shedding of the blood of Jesus on the cross washed it away...made me squeaky clean...then on Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead and his victorious rising made me right with God and then he filled me with God's goodness. All fear of what the future holds is gone....I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Everything in my life is NEW..2Cor.5:17...

have faith in GOD!
as long as we are on this earth, there will be plenty storms, gale winds, bumpy roads and rivers to cross. There will be valleys and mountains to climb. There will be dark days and depressing days where you do not want to see anybody. There will be days when everyone seems to be your enemy and days when you will be so happy you don't know what to do with yourself. Whatever the day or situation seems to be...Have Faith in God!
"He is our shield, our fortress, our God in whom we trust." HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY!

how great is this God we serve?
He's greater than you can even comprehend. He's great beyond the word itself. Right now, I picture HIM as a very tall dad who stands on earth but reaching the heavens and He is bending down to soothe a small child's sobs on earth....That's how great and awesome HE is. He has time to hear even a child's tears.
