what really counts

"only what we do for Jesus will count". I am rethinking this little statement right now, to me whatever we do here on earth should be done unto the Lord. The Bible said love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind & strength and love our neighbors as ourselves, so if I am in the ministry or not and I am always trying to be the boss or always trying to show that I have authority at the expense of another person, then I really question what I am doing for Jesus, will it count at all?
