attended a workshop this morning and towards the ending of it, our Professor gave us notes as reminders of Christ's last hours before the cross. I am still meditating on how long he hung on the cross. So, I started thinking what must I do different this year? How will I honor the sacrifice He did for me? How will I celebrate His resurrection that made us right with God?
** the answer I've come up with....
there is nothing that I can do to match what Jesus did, but in reviewing my past actions as of up to a second ago, I suddenly realize this is what I need to do beginning this day till he calls me home. "Love the Lord my God, with all my heart, soul, spirit & strength. Love my neighbor as myself." How will I achieve that? Carry my cross everyday and follow Jesus...
