Majestic Mountains
There is something about a mountain that sometimes is hard to describe. Mountains come in different sizes and heights. A mountain can be so big that it seems unclimable, or it can be so small that a fit person can run to the top in maybe less than 30 minutes. Mountains are so beautiful to look at, but yet at the same time frightening to climb. In all that, the interesting thing about a mountain is, there is no mountain that cannot be climbed. One man named Caleb in the Bible took the mountain, as his heritage. His descendants built a city on that mountain and people nowadays, come from all over the world to see it. The mountain range Caleb was given has an abundant water supply and the soil is excellent for agriculture. Abraham stayed there and he is buried there with Sarah as well as the other Patriarchs of Israel. Kings dwelled there, from Hyksos who were Egyptian Pharaohs to King David and his descendants, royal pottery was made from Hebron, and it was one of the Cities of Refuge in Joshua's time. In my opinion, I think we should change our prayers, let's not ask the Lord to move the mountain but, ask Jesus to show us how to build a city on that mountain.
