What's new with you?

That seems to be the question everyone asks, if they haven't seen someone for a long time.  This morning I read in the Word of God, those who place their trust and hope in the Lord, will be like trees planted by the riverside, their roots will spread wide and deep, it will not be bothered by the heat of the sun nor worried by long months of drought.  Its leaves stay green and it goes right on producing fruit (Jer.17:7,8).  The question posted or asked can be answered by the person who is liken to the tree growing by the riverside, because as the tree grows it sees many things.  It sees good and bad weather; it sees good and bad people hiding beneath it's shade; it experiences the heat of wild fires that came too close for comfort, however; did not zing any part of its body.  The tree also saw people who were high and dry looking for clean water to quench their thirst, interesting thing is, the river where the tree is growing by, brings a lot of trash sometimes and although the water is not good for drinking, the trash in the water  does not diminish the tree's growth.  Sometimes, people would walk their pets along the riverside stopping by the tree and after doing so, they leave behind their stinking trash and, even that helps the tree to grow more.  So, if someone asks what's new with you? Do not answer and say, nothing.  Think of all the things that made you grow more as well as make you fruitful and TESTIFY! to let everyone know, there is something that is new with you.
